
Chris Prince
Executive manager
Chris Prince is an executive manager having founded a number of businesses in the Australian technology sector.
Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Business in Accounting in 1976 and joined Coca-Cola. Chris held many roles, rising to Commercial Manager. In his time he executed the strategy to totally refresh IT systems, ran country operations and worked with the team to bring Mt Franklin spring water to market along with other marketing functions. Chris left after ten years.
He joined one of the largest grocery chains in Australia as CFO of one its divisions, working with the leadership team to turn a loss making business into a highly profitable business. Chris participated in a management buyout, which was ultimately rejected by the parent company.
He moved into the IT sector motivated by innovative technology solutions. He held a number of senior positions including General Manager, Sales and Marketing for a large IT services company. Chris worked for a few overseas corporations introducing innovative technologies into the Australian market
After 12 years, he then founded two companies, one consulting in business intelligence on the back of one of the overseas products and a software business to build and market a content management system.
Chris is therefore experienced in start-ups, strategy and business development. Relevantly, he is currently assisting an overseas company to establish its operations in Australia as well as providing executive recruitment services.
